Kaltostat Alginate Dressings are specifically recommended as a primary dressing for chronic and acute wounds that produce moderate to high levels of exudate, as well as wounds with minor bleeding. Upon contact with exudate, the dressing transforms into a firm, moist gel that is highly absorbent. This product is latex-free.
